Thursday 29 September at 16:00-20:00 we will open, together with the Swiss-Danish art and design duo PUTPUT, consisting of Stephan Friedli (Switzerland) and Ulrik Martin Larsen (Denmark), the next major exhibition in Bygning A at Kløvermarksvej 70.
Here, nothing is as it seems at first glance, and recognizable everyday objects are thoroughly turned upside down: Quirky twists and subtle transformations give us, for example, impossible scissors, a furry coffee maker, a very fit teddy bear, and a cleaning cart fountain.
The entire program for the opening and celebration on Thursday 29 September looks like this:
At 16:00 we open the doors to the exhibition EXTRA NORMAL with PUTPUT and to The Organic Company installation Repair the Future.
At 16:00-20:00 Copenhagen Distillery serves drinks.
At 17:30 and again at 19:00 you can experience Goodwin/Skovmand: Musician and composer Carolyn Goodwin on bass clarinet, clarinet and saxophone and visual and sound artist Barbara Amalie Skovmand Thomsen on après-Baschet sound sculpture, an acoustic sculptural synthesizer consisting of glass and metals built in collaboration with Rafael Fernández and consultant Martí Ruiz. The music is woven together of spheric landscapes and a percussive pulse.
You can meet both The Organic Company and PUTPUT on the day.
It’s free to join, so bring a friend and come to Kløvermarksvej!
At 20:00 we say thank you for today – and see you again!
