Just in time for the Christmas month, the KADK Craft BA-year of 2022 and Bygning A invite you to the opening of the exhibition Flat Craft. The exhibition has toured around Denmark and after being at Bornholm’s Art Museum in Rø, at Clay in Middelfart and the Glasmuseet in Ebeltoft, the tour has now come to Bygning A here in Copenhagen.

Flat Craft can then be experienced up to and including Sunday 8 January 2023.
Thursday 29 September at 16:00-20:00 we will open, together with the Swiss-Danish art and design duo PUTPUT, consisting of Stephan Friedli (Switzerland) and Ulrik Martin Larsen (Denmark), the next major exhibition in Bygning A at Kløvermarksvej 70.
Here, nothing is as it seems at first glance, and recognizable everyday objects are thoroughly turned upside down: Quirky twists and subtle transformations give us, for example, impossible scissors, a furry coffee maker, a very fit teddy bear, and a cleaning cart fountain.

At 17:30 and again at 19:00 you can experience Goodwin/Skovmand: Musician and composer Carolyn Goodwin on bass clarinet, clarinet and saxophone and visual and sound artist Barbara Amalie Skovmand Thomsen on après-Baschet sound sculpture, an acoustic sculptural synthesizer consisting of glass and metals built in collaboration with Rafael Fernández and consultant Martí Ruiz. The music is woven together of spheric landscapes and a percussive pulse.
You can meet both The Organic Company and PUTPUT on the day.

September 29 at 16:00-20:00 together with The Organic Company we celebrate in the most festive way that in September it is 15 years since Joy Vasiljev founded The Organic Company’s fight for a more sustainable approach to our consumption of textiles in everyday life.
We do that with the installation Repair the Future, which can be experienced in Bygnings A’s small hall from 29 September to and including Sunday 30 October.

During the days Thursday 29 September to and including Sunday 2 October, Museum Express is biking around the streets of Copenhagen with a small part of the EXTRA NORMAL exhibition.
Sebastian Jung is the force behind Museum Express, and the idea is to bring an exhibition experience all the way into your office, your shop, your workshop, at the sidewalk cafe, or in your home, you can book Sebastian and Museum Express – pizza delivery style!

With the exhibition Chair, unriddle me! we celebrate the coming fashion week here in Copenhagen in a brand new unique furniture series by furniture artist Rasmus Bækkel Fex, inspired by fashion’s Haute Couture and the chair archetypes: the dining chair, the stool, the bar chair, the armchair and the bench.
We look forward to seeing you all for a glass of wine and water on Tuesday August 9 at 4pm-7pm!
